The island is 100 miles long and 80 miles wide.
According to the 2000 census, 1,062,000 people live on this island of a little over 10,000 square kilometers.
There are 588 barangays, townships or small villages. The General Council Assemblies of God Philippines goal is to have a AG church in each barangay.
There are currently 45 AG churches on the island. |
