Ray accepted the Lord in 1972 , met Deborah in 1974, and they
were married in 1975. Ray graduated from Valley Forge Christian College in 1980 and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary
in 1992.
Their pastoral ministry includes churches in Michigan (Mio, Sparta and Romeo). Ray also served as Christian
Education Director in Grant. Currently they are involved at the Assembly of God in Charlotte.
In October 1994 Deborah
took a short term ministry trip to El Salvador. During this trip the Lord began to speak to her about serving full time in
missions.
In the fall of 1996 Ray participated in a ministry trip to the Philippines and the Lord gave him a burden
to train Christian workers in that nation.
In the fall of 1997 Ray, Deborah and Jen went to the Philippines together.
April 1, 2002 the Miller's arrive in Manila to begin language school for the next 5.5 months. While there they helped
with editing and typing on the Full Life Study/Fire Bible in Tagalog, visited a weekly outreach for kids living in a squatter
area and worked very hard to learn Tagalog.
September 23 we moved to Legaspi to begin our work as Missionary
Associates, Ray taught two classes, several pastor's seminars and preached at churches on Sunday. He also served as
District Continueing Education Coordinator and as Dean of Students for Evangel Bible College. Deborah worked as
adminstrative assistant, District Children's Ministry Coordinator, trained the Bible School Staff on computers, taught Sunday
School workers conducted children's programs, in Montisori and Public Schools, street outreaches and Sunday School.
We arrive home in Micigan on March 2, 2005!
We received full appointment as Canidate Missionaries to return
to the Philippines on April 6, 2005.
We are now raising Prayer and financial support for our return
to the Philippines in mid 2006
We will continue our work strenghtening the church on
the island of Mindoro conducting training seminars for Pastors and workers, mentoring workers and raising the awareness
of ministry to children and young people.
